About Me

I have recently graduated from the University of Central Lancashire and hail from Stoke-on-Trent.

I currently write weekly articles on English football for VAVEL and produce daily output for Stoke City FC fan channel 'The Bear Pit TV' on Twitter and Instagram.

As part of my studies at the University of Central Lancashire I have gained valuable experience and picked up essential skills in digital, radio and TV journalism through producing digital videos, written articles and appearing on a university-led podcast.

Through impressing senior industry professionals at a university event, I have landed and completed two placements at the Lancashire Post and National World. My experiences there saw numerous online articles produced across different sports, as well as experience working out of my comfort zone in a news department.

I also have added experience in social media after working with Lacrosse England to help cover and promote their 'The Fly' tournament in 2022. This included running the social media accounts for Team Hustle Men's and Women's teams whilst the tournament was ongoing, as well as producing online profiles for the players on those teams.

My studies have allowed me to become proficient in Adobe Audition and Premiere Pro, as well as gain a great understanding of the legal and ethical requirements that journalists must adhere to.
